Our values are inspired by Jesus’ teaching in Luke’s Gospel when he is explaining about the effervescent nature of the Kingdom of God. It cannot be contained, limited or commodified. Through Christ, the life of the Kingdom bursts out into the world, frothing and fizzing, a gift to all who are open to receive it. In Christ we are reminded that there is always newness and movement in response to the needs of the world. We are called to look and see what new things he is doing around us and join in. We are called to drink the new wine of the kingdom.

“No one puts new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. (Luke 5: 37-38)”
