Get involved

There are many ways to get involved with the life and activities of our church.

As we seek to meet together, encourage one another and share the good news of God’s love with our neighbours, there are practical ways in which individuals can help out.

Speak to us or contact us if you would like to become more involved in church life, or see our information on giving and volunteering.

How to get involved

Volunteering

We would love to hear from you if you are willing to give some of your time, skills or experience. Here are some examples of ways to volunteer but if you think of other ways you can help, please do get in touch.

Helping with Sunday Services

There are many ways to assist in the smooth running of our services: welcoming, reading, writing and reading the prayers, serving refreshments afterwards, laundry, tidying the church etc.

Music

If you have a passion for music and a desire to contribute to our Sunday services, we warmly welcome musicians and vocalists of all skill levels to join our worship community.

Helping the community

Extra help is always welcomed by the local community groups we are engaged with. Explore opportunities in the Community section of Services and events to join and make a positive impact.

Delivering The Trumpet

Our dedicated volunteers distribute The Trumpet to 6,000 homes across the parish! Can you assist in continuing this service to your doorstep? Only 6 times a year.

churchyard clean-up

Twice yearly, during spring and autum, we dedicate extra care to the church’s interior and churchyard. To lend a hand during these events or address any tasks, please reach out.

If you are interested in any of the above, please contact us:

Become a member

By joining the parish electoral roll you become a full member of the church with the ability to vote on important decisions. The electoral roll is meant to reflect the number of people involved in our parish life so, if you are a regular member of the congregation, signing up ensures the roll is a true representation of our members. Forms are available at the church to complete, and return to the church office.

If interested, fill out the forms below and return to admin@trumpington.church and we will be in touch shortly.
